Back-to-School

Gracious Father in Heaven,

As students, teachers, and staff return to school, we recognize that many are anxious, worried, fearful, and uncertain as they go back to school.

So, we pray today for your blessing upon the students as they begin this new school year. Keep them safe and help them to grow and thrive in the months ahead.

We also pray that you would bless those who work with or support students in their education.

We pray for the teachers, support staff, administrators, and custodial staff as they do the challenging work they are called to. Give them courage, wisdom, and grace.

And Gracious Father, we pray for your blessing upon parents as they send their children to class. Give them peace, a sense of calm to their hearts, and help them to know that you are with us all throughout this school year.

Gracious God, we cast all our anxieties and burdens on you and ask that you give us the strength needed for the year ahead.
